MINISTRY
PURPOSE
Promotion of Christ's Kingdom by assisting candidates in securing their educational requirements for entering the e ministry as a life's work.
REQUIREMENTS
- Be a declared candidate for ministry in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.
- Be enrolled in an approved seminary or college.
- Have intentions of returning to and serving the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church.
- Letter of recommendation from candidate's pastor and endorsement from their District Superintendent.
- Demonstrate a financial need.
- Statement of your beliefs, Christian experiences and ministry calling.
LIMITATIONS
Scholarship funds are limited and may vary depending upon funds available. Funds are given "gratis", however, repayment of the funds is encouraged so others may have the same opportunity for assistance.
